2,586. That's a lot of humans
And that's not counting civilians. Or cats.
I'm not a particularly political cat. I try to keep up with what's going on in the world and form opinions as appropriate, instead of jumping on someone else's bandwagon.
Sometimes that's hard to do. You don't want to form the wrong opinion and start spouting it off. I love to eat, but not my words.
Besides, some subjects are just too painful for an overweight cat to contemplate for very long.
And there's no shortage of opinions on this one.
That's not to say I don't have one. But I'm not yet ready to add my own feline voice to the chorus. Assigning blame is not my specialty anyway.
However, the opportunity to make a positive difference -- however slight -- should not be ignored. Here's one for all you blogging kitties out there -- and anyone else who would like to help out.
No, it won't stop all the suffering or end the war. But it could bring a little comfort that our government can't or won't provide. And it may save a few animal lives to boot. That ought to be worth something, no matter which side you're on.
This is Cruxley, reminding you that war is hell and angels are sorely needed. And when we finally bring 'em home, let's not forget their cats.
